Chlorella powder is a powdered product made from single-celled green algae of the Chlorella genus (such as protein-nucleus chlorella and chlorella) grown in freshwater or seawater. It is obtained through artificial cultivation, harvesting, washing, and drying. The morphological characteristics of the raw material chlorella are as follows: Protein-nucleus chlorella is spherical, with a diameter of 3-5 μm, and contains one cell nucleus and one cup-shaped chloroplast for powder formation; Common chlorella has a diameter of 5-10 μm, with pigment bodies in a deep cup shape. It has strong reproductive ability but is slightly inferior to protein-nucleus chlorella.
